Are there any pre-requisites before I can start playing water polo?
No skills are required. Since water polo is primarily a swimming game, those who are unable to swim will be given swimming lessons first. Hence, do be patient with us as water polo skills may be taught at a later stage.

Our dedicated coaches and staff. We work towards instilling proper water polo techniques to our students in fun and exciting learning environment. Our programs are designed base on best practices from leading water polo nations tailored according to age groups and physical abilities.
What about your coaches? Are they trained?
All our coaches are accredited with Singapore Swimming Association and Singapore Sports Council. Most of them were ex-international players who have competed at high-level tournaments. Above all, we have very passionate and responsible coaches on our team.
When are your holidays?
Public Holidays Chinese New Year Eve Christmas Eve to the 1st of January Note: Trainings are subject to change according to the local & international competition calendar.
What happens when it rains?
Lessons are conducted as per normal except when there is lightning activity. Physical land training will replace the usual session if coaches see fit.
What extra gear is needed for training besides swim wear and goggles?
All players are require to buy their own water polo ball and cap. For competition, the Club's t-shirt and swim suit must be worn. All water polo gear can be purchased at the Club.
What are the fee structure and payment policies?
Membership fee of $150 (one-time payment) Quarterly Subscription for juniors - $360 per quarter (3 months of $120 per month) · 18 years of age & under (as of 1st Jan) - Quarterly Subscription for seniors - $240 per quarter (3 months of $80 per month) · 19 years of age & above (as of 1st Jan) Payable on 1st January, 1st April, 1st July & 1st October. Mode of payment is via cheque or cash. - Cheque payable to “Queenstown Water Polo Club”
